A second installment of Mario Kart 8 DLC, titled “Pack 2: Animal Crossing X Mario Kart 8,” will be released at the end of May 2015. Pack 2 includes characters: Animal Crossing Villager, Isabelle, and Dry Bowser. As with Pack 1, it also includes four vehicles and eight tracks (four tracks per new cup).
Fans can advance purchase each DLC pack from the Wii U eShop for $7.99; both packs can be purchased at the discounted price of $11.99. As a bonus, players who pre-purchase both DLC Packs can unlock, and immediately make use of, eight colored Yoshi and Shy Guy characters. Of course, there’s also that free and stylish Mercedes-Benz DLC that lets players zip around the track using three different luxury vehicles.
