High Demand Could Result in Nintendo Badge Arcade amiibo

If there’s enough player demand, Nintendo could entertain the idea of making an amiibo figure designed after the Nintendo Badge Arcade bunny.

That fast-talking bunny assistant could be up to his usual tricks, but his latest idea is one amiibo collectors should take note of. With new sets of amiibo badges recently making their way to badge catchers, he says “I think I’d make an absolutely adorable amiibo!”

Answering “No way!” results in the response “Tell you what, I don’t want to be an amiibo. That’d be kinda weird…” However, answering “I’d want one!” results in him replying with “Wow, thanks! I’ll pass it on to the boss that there’s high demand!”

Like most Nintendo games, Nintendo Badge Arcade has an optional info sharing feature. If you opt-in, you agree to share information about your gameplay with Nintendo so they can use the info to improve their products and services.

Nintendo Badge Arcade and its bunny assistant may be more popular than some think. In fact, fans voted the game as one of their top ten Nintendo 3DS picks in a 2015 Miiverse poll. In addition, the bunny made his appearance in Super Mario Maker as a Mystery Mushroom costume last December.

Currently, Nintendo Badge Arcade offers five plays for $1.00. One idea for a potential bunny amiibo would be to tap the figure in-game to earn one free play per day. Have any other ideas? Feel free to let us know in the comments section below.

Meanwhile, Super Smash Bros. players anxiously await the Cloud, Corrin, and Bayonetta amiibo figures.

  1. I would totally buy a Badge Arcade Bunny Amiibo. I use my 3DS every single day because of Badge Arcade (700+ badges and counting).

In fact, I hope Nintendo carries the Badge Arcade idea over to their new system and expands the scope.
