Animal Crossing Nintendo Direct Airs November 2

An Animal Crossing Nintendo Direct, focused exclusively on new updates coming to New Leaf, will be broadcast worldwide on November 2.

Animal Crossing: New Leaf server maintenance concluded Monday evening in preparation for tomorrow’s event, which will introduce amiibo functionality and a amiibo camera feature for the 2013 Nintendo 3DS game. In addition, fans can expect to see Hello Kitty themed content arrive at some point following the game’s new software update.

Worth noting, the Japanese Animal Crossing Direct will include new information about Miitopia, a mysterious game set to release on Nintendo 3DS in 2016.

The upcoming Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem games for smart devices are set to arrive no later than March 2017, according to Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima.
