Another mystery solved!

With its release date announced during the February 13th Nintendo Direct, Level-5’s mind-bending puzzle adventure title Professor Layton And The Azran Legacy is finally available in North American retailers and on the Nintendo 3DS eShop for $39.99.

Fans choosing to download the sixth chapter in the Professor Layton series will be required to have 7,259 Blocks (.886 GB) of free space on their SD (Secure Digital) card. That’s not too demanding considering Bravely Default requires 26,498 Blocks.

Note: 8,192 Blocks equals 1 GB.

Game Description

Journey across the globe aboard the airship Bostonius while solving mind-bending brainteasers themed to their environments. Can you help Professor Layton and his assistants solve the greatest puzzle mankind has ever faced and uncover the mystery surrounding the ancient Azran civilization?

The Professor Layton series couples brilliant puzzle games with a fascinating story to create a riveting formula that has provided great entertainment for mystery fans and puzzle-solving gurus alike. And now, you can complete the Professor Layton storyline with this brand new puzzle-driven narrative from LEVEL-5. This fun adventure can either stand on its own, or act as the glue that connects the two Layton trilogies into one epic story.

If that’s not enough, Layton’s latest lets you download an additional puzzle every day for an entire year, beginning on the games launch day!

  1. Don’t leave us, Professor—!

I didn’t get Miracle Mask because I hadn’t beaten Last Specter yet, but when I do I’m going to get my puzzle-solving top hat on! The Professor Layton games are fantastic in so many ways, I’m really going to miss these characters. But I’m excited to hop aboard the Bostonius and have one final epic adventure with Nintendo’s Sherlock.

    • You haven’t finished the other games Pasta? Take your time! I personally think Last Specter is one of the most difficult games. I’d really like to give you my second Miracle Mask game, I got two when I bought it, and I don’t really have any friends interested in the Layton series so it’s just sitting there -_-

      • Okay, I’ll take my time! XD I’d hate to know they’re ending the Professor Layton series because there was a lack of interest, but I fear that’s the case. I’m the only one of my friends who’s into Layton as well. But you never know! Perhaps fans will get together and demand one more, y’know?

How did you manage to get 2 of the same game? That’s very sweet of you to think of me, Cyan. But perhaps you can trade-in your second copy and get something else you want?

  2. Yes! I’m so excited, I’ll be getting my own game today! Unfortunately, it might be one of the last adventures we share with the Professor, but I can’t wait to play it *-*
