Nintendo removed the expiration date for My Nintendo Picross: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, suggesting it’s available indefinitely.
The My Nintendo-exclusive Zelda-themed puzzle game was initially set to expire on October 1, 2016; however, that time restriction no longer exists. Members of Nintendo’s new loyalty rewards program can still redeem the game for 1,000 Platinum points until further notice.
As with other Picross-type games, players use numbers on a grid as clues to complete hidden illustrations. My Nintendo Picross: Zelda: Twilight Princess offers 45 puzzles of various difficulty across either Picross mode or Mega Picross mode.
In addition, a few new My Nintendo rewards have become available. Nintendo 3DS themes for Mario and Donkey Kong can each be redeemed for 200 Platinum points. Or, members can redeem a 30 percent discount for Ultimate NES Remix on Nintendo 3DS for 900 Platinum points.
Since launching in March 2016, My Nintendo offers only digital rewards such as Nintendo 3DS themes, discounts for digital games, and Miitomo items — a drastic departure from the former Club Nintendo. However, Nintendo has promised that physical gifts are still planned to arrive in the future.
