A few new notification options are now available for Trainers who search for Pokémon using the Pokémon GO Plus accessory, Niantic announced.
Trainers can now enable or disable the settings for “Nearby Pokémon” or “Nearby PokéStop” located on the Pokémon GO Plus menu in Pokémon GO. By default, these two settings are enabled.
In addition, Trainers traveling with a Buddy Pokémon can now disable notifications altogether to record only distance traveled with their pal.
The new menu options do not require players to update the Pokémon GO app. The current version on Android is 0.41.4 and the current version on iOS is 1.11.4; both versions became available to download on Wednesday, October 12.
