CoroCoro Leaks Alolan Meowth & Marowak, Four New Pokémon

The September 2016 issue of CoroCoro Comic has leaked, revealing four new Sun & Moon Pokémon and outing Alolan forms of Meowth and Marowak.

Yowashi, a Water-type fish Pokémon, appears to have an Ability that allows it to take on the appearance of a larger fish.

The two sandcastle-looking Pokémon are both dual Ghost/Ground-type; the small one is called Sunabaa, while the larger one is called Shirodesuna.

Nuikoguma, a Normal/Fighting-type Pokémon, is the pre-evolution of the previously announced Pokémon Bewear.

In addition, CoroCoro Comic revealed a first-hand look at the Alolan forms of Meowth and Marowak; Meowth takes on Dark-type while Marowak is a dual Fire/Ghost-type.

Finally, we saw a glimpse of Team Skull, the antagonists for Sun & Moon. A boss named Guzuma and a girl named Burumeri are shown; however, their exact roles are still unclear.

Official English names, gameplay footage, and detailed information for the new lineup of Pocket Monsters will be released in the near future.

Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon arrives in North America and Japan on November 18, with a European release coming a few days later on November 23.
